It is an honor to connect with you, the vital force driving Sikkim’s livestock legacy forward. As we build on the SKM government’s bold vision, our initiatives in animal husbandry, particularly dairy, are igniting real change for our farmers and communities. The Dairy Development Programme strengthens milk production infrastructure, while the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Samridhi Yojana delivers essential incentives for thriving livestock enterprises. Dairy incentive schemes fuel growth through targeted subsidies, and awareness camps on livestock and dairy management empower rural innovators with cutting-edge knowledge. Coupled with the National Animal Disease Control Programme, these efforts shield and scale our herds.

These strides fuel my conviction: together, we will achieve self-sufficiency in dairy and livestock. I urge you to lead with vision and vigor, SLDB is our linchpin, propelling Sikkim toward a vibrant, self-reliant tomorrow where every farmer prospers.
